PT BSC Philip Widmair

Having been very active in sport from an early age — especially mountain disciplines such as skiing, trail running and climbing — I developed a strong interest in musculoskeletal injuries, their prevention and their rehabilitation while still young.

My growing interest in people’s health led me, after secondary school, to study physiotherapy. In 2022 I began my studies at fh gesundheit in Innsbruck, which I completed in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies.

During my university years in sports-minded Innsbruck, I was able to gain experience in the orthopaedic-traumatological field and in sports rehabilitation. It quickly became clear to me that these were exactly the areas I wanted to work in after my studies.

After graduating, my path led me back to South Tyrol, where I soon discovered the Dolomiti Athletic Center — its patient-centred rehabilitation approach deeply reflects my own. In my work, I always place the person, with their individual concerns and goals, at the centre, tailoring every measure precisely to them.
